Diabetes Management System Earns CE Mark

Diabeloop’s DBLG1, a hybrid closed-loop diabetes management system that serves as an artificial pancreas, earned a CE Mark. The device provides glucose measurements every five minutes and is able to connect to DexCom’s G6 Continuous Glucose Monitor, Kaleido’s patch insulin pump or a smartphone algorithm. It is the second CE Mark given to an artificial pancreas-like device, after Medtronics’ MiniMed 670G.
